    hi mate,

there are lots of these type of e-cigs on the market now and they are known as modded e-cigs or high voltage e-cigs.

these tend to have superior battery life and produce more vapour than regular e-cigs.

6 drops in the prodigy will give me around 1 – 2 cigarettes worth of vaping.

    cheers,

    scott

So is this the same thing but with another name as the “ScrewDriver”?? or is that an entirely different product.. I’m still leaning heavily towards a Titan 501.. but I mainly want something for when I am at home.. so looks don’t really matter all that much. I’d prefer not to do direct dripping so much..

Also.. how long will 6 drops last? How often will you need to redrip? I’m new to vaping so not really sure.

Thanks for all the videos, I watch a couple every day :)

i think you will find that the clue is in the title! lol

    wtf is this?

  5. igetcha69 says:

    hi mate,

i think the protege is like its little brother……..smaller in size and runs on a lower voltage. i think its going to be popular!

    cheers,

    scott

    Hi Scott
Is the Protege e cig the same as this prodigy?

  7. igetcha69 says:

what site is that being sold on?

  8. Vsca says:

haha fair enough mate. just thought i would give you a heads up if you didn’t already know that there this 6V battery box that looks vary promising called “The Copper”. its vary small, far smaller than the prodigy and imo looks great.

  9. igetcha69 says:

    hi mate,

ive just had a look at some sites that i thought did sell them but it looks like they have all switched over to the LED versions.

im not aware of any other places that sell them unfortunately :(

black felt tip pen maybe? lol

    cheers,

    scott

  10. Vsca says:

hey scott i need some advise mate. do you know where i could get myself a manual 510 battery WITHOUT the light on the end in the uk? i like it more as it draws less attention to you. thanks…

  11. igetcha69 says:

    hi mate,

out of the 2 i prefer the prodigy…………..but both are very good e-cigs!

i choose the prodigy because its a very solid built device that i feel will last for years.

    cheers,

    scott

I just want to thank you for all your reviews. They are all great. One question I do have though is if you prefer the prodigy over the janty stick or the stick over the prodigy?

  13. igetcha69 says:

    nice one mate! :)

  14. keitvenable says:

I think they took your advice about polishing out the adaptor. I got mine last week and it was very nice looking… The shape of the adaptor is also a bit different as well. More of a cone shape. This thing ROCKS. I get a very consistent hit every time. As long as there is juice in it. You will go through some juice with this device too.lol.. And the flavor is real good in this also. Stay away from the higher mgs though.. wow it will hurt you

Blew my first smoke rings also…. thanks Scott….

  15. igetcha69 says:

    hi mate,

ive not tried it myself, but ive only ever heard positive things about it from others who own one.

glad you find the vids helpfull :)

    cheers,

    scott

Watched pretty much all of your reviews Scott, all very informative and convinced me to grab a Titan.

Like the idea of a 5v machine but after spending a fair bit on kit, getting a full prodigy set would break the bank.

As a compromise, I am thinking of getting the prodigy USB passthrough (510 version). Have you had any experience with it?

  17. igetcha69 says:

    hi mate,

i find that 5 drops of juice on the atty will give me about 15 good drags before the taste starts to fade……….so roughly the equivelant of having a cigarette.

    cheers,

    scott

  18. JamesKim1972 says:

    Hi Scott,

I was curious how many puffs you get out of the Prodigy doing direct dripping before have to drip again?

    Thanks.

  19. igetcha69 says:

    LOL, OBESE!?

its actually rather slim……….definitely more anorexic than obese, lol

  20. GuvernorDave says:

    lol to each his own.

I just find it rather…obese looking

  21. igetcha69 says:

    hi mate,

personally, i think it looks pretty cool! remember, im not judging it on how much it looks like a regular cigarette! lol

besides, i really like kettles :)

    cheers,

    scott

  22. GuvernorDave says:

How could you give this a 9/10 for looks?!
It’s horrible! I wouldn’t be caught dead vaping on this in public.

….like sucking on the spout of a tea kettle.

  23. paulholmes2008 says:

“Did you see that?” as Scott waves the prodigy acrross the screen at the speed of light! LOL!

  24. scangemi says:

I think it looks weird….. would only use that if I was by myself.

  25. DBKStudios says:

Thanks for the review man, Its been decided I am ordering it at the end of the month.

  26. VAughan says:

The Prodigy is a great e-cig, one of the best of the mods. Once you’ve tried 5v + models there’s no going back to 3.5 v. I have the GG e-cig (another 6v mod) but really both are good..

Only wish I could get hold of the Prodigy but they’ve run out in the U.K. until 30th of November and the maker is actually bringing out an updated design in the New Year.
