I'm gonna have to be the bad guy here and say do it anyway.

To ease your morals: E-cig smoking is not actually smoking... it's really an overcounter medical nicotine administration device no different than gum or the patch. Your E-cig doesn't hurt anyone around you through second hand smoke. It is therefore not smoking, and even if it was, it is none of their business.

But of course, explaining the difference between an e-cig and actual tobacco to a 45 year old conservative disney security guard could prove to be futile, therefore I recommend to be discreet as you possibly can. Smoke in private. Do e-cigs smell? If so, smoke a non-flavored one. Understand that there's a difference between what is legal, and what is against corporate policy. If they caught your e-cig and decided that it violated their policies... can they throw you out? Of course. Can they cuff you and take you to jail? Of course not. Can they confiscate your e-cig? No.

This is your call.

All participants - students and chaperones - must adhere to the Disney Grad Nite dress code and abide by a no-smoking, no-alcohol and no-drugs policy.

All bags, pockets and other items are checked for any illegal substances and weapons. All questionable items will be confiscated at the gate. Security is visibly present throughout the park during the event and a paging system is in place to reach your chaperones should your students require assistance.

Unless your friend wants to risk the electronic cigarette from being confiscated, I'd leave it at home.

If you are under 18 , you CANNOT legally smoke electronic cigarettes, however, if you are, you can smoke them just about anywhere, i smoked my bluecigs in the air Plane coming back from Toronto last week, and because the led is blue, nobody said anything.
I actually used that blog to use a promo code if you are interested in purchasing a started Kit http://bluecigs.wordpress.com/

No you can't take an electronic cigarette to Disneyland for Grad Nite. Even though it's technically not considered "smoking" it is considered "smoking" by most major companies including Disney and Grad Nite is a smoke free event.

If you strongly want to know whether it is allowed I would suggest actually asking whoever is in charge of everything because we wouldn't know the rules. If they say no, it sucks, but if they say yes, then go ahead.
-Of course if you don't ask them you take the risk of being caught
