I made the decision to give up a 30yr smoking habit about a year ago but nothing worked! I tried patches, gum, inhaler etc. but to no avail! Then I happened, by chance, to read about the electronic cigarette and after watching several reviews on youtube by ‘Igetcha 69′, not only did I decide that I should give it a go, but also chose this kit because he gave it a high score.
Now, the thing is, if you decide to get an e-cig there are so many out there to choose from! You end up getting confused as to whether you should get a 901, 801, 084 etc., because it all depends on battery life, how long a cartridge will last, amount of vapour produced and flavour! So for a novice it does get confusing and there are some cheaper makes that just don’t work, apparently.
So after 2 days of deciding I ordered this kit and I am very pleased with it. I personally chose it because it is the same size as a cigarette which I felt was important, even though battery life is usually not as good in smaller units. But I am easily getting 3 hours from each battery and getting through 3 cartriges per day which is apparently equivalent to 15 real ciggies, so this is excellent as I was a 40 a day smoker and thought I’d get through far more! Also the vapour is good and the flavours are nice (I ordered high & med. Tobacco and High Menthol). Also, very importantly, the refills are good value, especially the 50 pack.
Have I given up smoking? Well, not quite, but 2 days into it I find that I still need the odd one (first thing in the morning and after a meal) but apart from that I am happy to use my e-cig, it removes the craving and feels similar to smoking a cigarette. Don’t expect it to be exactly the same, it is slightly heavier and there is a slight noise like sucking through a straw when you take a pull, but that is to be expected. Most important though is the fact that I’ve already saved £20 that I would have spent on real cigarettes so the kit will soon pay for itself!
All in all this is a great starter kit, I received it in 2 days of ordering, well wrapped and with everything in working order. Also I contacted Lallaboutique after placing my order to ask if I could choose my refills and they got straight back to me with a list of choices – good customer service.
I am now looking to get the re-chargable pack with the black e-cig for my handbag and I will be looking at trying different flavours to refill the cartridges myself. I don’t know if this seller will be stocking a USB passthrough for the 084 but I will be looking for one of those so I can have it on permanent charge whilst at my computer!
